My first post!

I decided to give this blog thing a try.  I do a whole lot of picture posting on facebook and have decided to move most of that to here so I am not clogging up the news feed. I am a beginner so it will take some time for me to figure this all out. I am so excited because I will have this to go back and look at years down the road...so let the journey begin!
