I made my first ever coupon run. Couponing requires a lot of time. I have never took time to sit and figure out how you really can save. The TLC show shows so amazing shopping trips. But those are extreme. My level of couponing with be for the things we need or can use. One major savings tool for couponing is going to a store that has a double coupon policy. So far in Jax I haven't found a local store that offers this. Here is the stats from today's trip...
-$64 before store savings card and coupons
-$27 after store savings and coupons
So I purchased a total of 23 items and that's means on average I paid a little over $1.13 an item!!
This trip wasn't extreme but I am really excited to learn how to "coupon"!
