Happy 1st Birthday Austin

I put a little video together of some of my favorite pictures from this past year. The song I choose to go along with the video is a song that I have sang to both kids as a "going to sleep song"...

God has truly blessed me! I have two beautiful, wonderful kids who have brought more joy into my life then I ever thought possible!

Matthew 5:1-12

Matthew 5

 ¹SEEING THE crowds, He went up on the mountain; and when He was seated, His disciples came to Him.     ²Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:
    ³Blessed (happy, ^[a]to be envied, and ^[b]spiritually prosperous--^[c]with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the poor in spirit (the humble, who rate themselves insignificant), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!
    ⁴Blessed and enviably happy [with a ^[d]happiness produced by the experience of God's favor and especially conditioned by the revelation of His matchless grace] are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted!
    ⁵Blessed (happy, blithesome, joyous, ^[e]spiritually prosperous--^[f]with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the meek (the mild, patient, long-suffering), for they shall inherit the earth!
    ⁶Blessed and fortunate and happy and ^[g]spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God ^[h]enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be ^[i]completely satisfied!
    ⁷Blessed (happy, ^[j]to be envied, and ^[k]spiritually prosperous--^[l]with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy!
    ⁸Blessed (happy, ^[m]enviably fortunate, and ^[n]spiritually prosperous--possessing the ^[o]happiness produced by the experience of God's favor and especially conditioned by the revelation of His grace, regardless of their outward conditions) are the pure in heart, for they shall see God!
    ⁹Blessed (enjoying ^[p]enviable happiness, ^[q]spiritually prosperous--^[r]with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the makers and ^[s]maintainers of peace, for they shall be called the sons of God!
    ¹⁰Blessed and happy and ^[t]enviably fortunate and ^[u]spiritually prosperous ^[v](in the state in which the born-again child of God enjoys and finds satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of his outward conditions) are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake (for being and doing right), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!
    ¹¹Blessed (happy, ^[w]to be envied, and ^[x]spiritually prosperous--^[y]with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of your outward conditions) are you when people revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things against you falsely on My account.
    ¹²Be glad and supremely joyful, for your reward in heaven is great (strong and intense), for in this same way people persecuted the prophets who were before you. [II Chron. 36:16.]

Family fun in the sun

I want to share a few pics from our recent beach trip that we went with my parents and brother. We live under 45 minutes away from the beach and do nearly enough. We dont have many days where we can all get together and go. So when we do I always try to take a bunch of pictures.
Mikayla loves being in the water. Austin dose not like it as much as she does and prefers to go in for a few mintues at a time. Mikayla will stay in the water every minute we are there if we let her.
I know I say this a lot but I love beach pictures. The water, sun, and sand makes for some really nice pictures. I love that we invested in a nice camera before Mikayla was born. No only has it been a great hobby for me we have so many pictures that have made the investment worth while.

I cant believe that my little man is about to turn 1. With less then two weeks before his 1st Birthday Austin still has only two teeth. But with these two teeth be eats just about everything. He Is super smart and if you eat in front on him he wants what you have, and he lets you know it!

With Austin's birthday fastly approaching right after his will be Mikayla's. As crazy as it seems that Austin is turning 1 it's even crazier that Mikayla is turning 4.

I always try to take a picture of both of them once a week just so that years down the road I will have them to look back on. I dont like to always take their pics when they are all dressed up But sometimes after they got out of bed and have been playing. Which is when I think they look the cutest. Here is another pic of them both after Mikayla had accidently ran over Austin toe on her little bike(it wasn't as bad as it looks). She felt so bad and gave him a hug. They love each other so much. I cant wait for many, many, more memories with them. These two bring so much joy into my life!

A fun morning

My days home with the kids are few and far between so I cherish those days. Austin is changing everyday and will soon be walking. I can't even believe he is almost a year old. The past year has flown by. Austin recently discovered he can climb onto his sisters bed and is so excited when he does...

Camping- Florida Style

We went camping for a couple days in St. Augustine at the KOA. This is only the second time we have gone camping since we have lived down here. The first time was in a tent and it was also in July. We will never do that again. Anyone that has been in Florida in July knows that it is HOT! So we decided to give a new style of camping a try...
