Mikayla's 1st Valentine's Party

The Valentine's she picked out herself-one for the boys and one for the girls.

Mikayla's accident

Mikayla yesterday got a hold of a knife that was in a drawer(we believe) in our room while she was suppose to be napping. She then tried to cut holes in a piece of paper "for school" she said. She was taken to the ER and was given shots of medicine in both of her thumbs to numb them and then was given two stitches in one thumb and three in the other. She was quite a trooper. She is doing wonderful now and so thankful to all our friends and family that have been praying for her. I am putting the pictures I took of that day on here so that we can look back at them as a learning lesson for both kids. I do not think she will ever try to play with another knife again!

                     They wrapped her up so she couldn't move. She watched the sew every stitch!!

This picture is of the right thumb and was taken a couple of days after the stitches where put in and it is healing nicely.
